Marchmont supported the World Bank Group to launch their “Recipe for a Livable Planet” report – the first comprehensive global roadmap to mitigate the agrifood system’s contributions to climate change.

Marchmont developed a multi-channel strategy to launch the United Nations’ flagship Global Assessment Report on Disaster Risk Reduction – raising awareness of the rising prevalence and cost of global disasters and the urgent need to climate-proof development and investments.

Marchmont worked with the We Mean Business Coalition on a year-long media campaign to communicate the role that carbon markets can play to deliver nature-based solutions and climate mitigation, including press office support during the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.

As the official retained communications agency of the first-of-its-kind UN Food Systems Summit, Marchmont helped mainstream the concept of ‘food systems’ through targeted campaigns and media outreach, reaching a potential 2.5 billion people online and nearly tripling the term’s use in media coverage over a two-year period.

Marchmont supports pan-African research organisation AKADEMIYA2063 in promoting their flagship events and reports to media. Marchmont has supported a range of their work including on topics such as soil management, climate change, energy, innovation and livestock.
